WHAT ARE “ONLINE FORMS”?
An ONLINE FORM is a questionnaire that we make available to our clients via our website. We can also send them the questions by email. We use this method to save time when making up new documents for our clients, which saves them fees.
If you are an authorised client, please log-in to the Customer Area to access and use the online forms that you have subscribed for. (Please note that these forms are not available indefinitely. After the link has been used by the client, it will expire of be removed.)
By using this method, clients help us to automate and speed up the preparation of their documents. The data that is entered into the form is assembled by us into a template that we then review and edit to produce a final product that has has input from a lawyer.
By doing some of the preparation work themselves, clients reduce the amount of time we spend working on their documents, resulting in lower fees. Usually, this method should eliminate at least one interview.
To make sure the documents that are prepared this way meet the client’s specific needs, we assist the client to decide whether this process is right for them. In their case, they may need to have the document prepared in the traditional way: an initial interview, then preparation of a draft, then discussion of edits, possibly more than once, before production of the final version. In lots of cases, however, this method works perfectly well, and saves time and money.
HOW CAN YOU USE AN ONLINE FORM?
